This Eclipse from ESP is one of the best feeling guitars you’ll ever pick up. You can tell before plugging in, it is tight, resonant and extremely well crafted everywhere you look. The neck is comfortable and just thick enough in all the right places, which along with the 24.75" scale makes for a slinky, smooth feel. If you're a bender, you're going to love the way this guitar plays. Bends just kind of happen when you need them with minimal effort, and expressive vibratos are always at your fingertips. The Eclipse doesn't try to reinvent the wheel - this axe's appeal is its balance and craftsmanship. It sports a mahogany body with a flame maple top and sunburst finish reminiscent of the Les Paul bursts of the past. The mahogany neck has a thin U profile and 22 extra jumbo frets. The pickups are a set of rich, warm EMGs. The tune-o-matic bridge and tailpiece along with the Schaller locking tuners will keep this axe in tune no matter how much you abuse it. A chambered body creates a lightweight guitar that will balance well on your shoulders and feel comfortable whether you're playing for hours on end in your bedroom or on the big stage!
