In terms of construction, Fender relies on an ash body with historically accurate lines and a bolt-on maple neck, the traditional "U" profile of the neck fills the hand and guarantees comfortable playability. Two Fender vintage-style single-coil pickups also ensure appropriate tone conversion with the biting twang, which gives country, blues and rock licks enormous assertiveness. Last but not least, the Fender Japan Traditional '70s Tele is equipped with the classic vintage-style string through body bridge and precise Fender die-cast tuners.
For the construction of the Fender Japan Traditional '70s Tele, the Japanese Fender Factory uses the traditional Telecaster construction method. Accordingly, the electric guitar has an ash body with historically accurate radius and lines, which in conjunction with the bolt-on maple neck provides the basis for the crisp and lively sound.
