Gibson SG '61 Reissue Sapphire Blue Limited Edition

A Limited Run SG '61 Reissue in beautiful and rare Sapphire Blue. These were a special, limited-run finish of only 200 guitars. The Sapphire Blue is indeed a beautiful, striking color, and in the close-up photos you can see that it has very fine-grain metallic sparkle, which reflects light of the flash, and is  even more striking at a gig under stage lighting. The finish really changes depending on the lighting. So this guitar combines the overwhelmingly beloved SG '61 RI design, with a very exciting and quite rare, custom sapphire blue color that sets it apart from the ordinary SG.

Cosmetically, it is in very good condition, with just a few minor dings. The guitar plays and sounds great with the '57 Classic pickups and comes with the original hardshell case.

Condition: Some very minor scratches, only noticeable when looking up close. Barely noticeable grooving on the back from rubbing up against belt.

Playability: Straight neck, no buzzing, very little fret wear, action is comfortable, no issues with electronics
