Greco GO 900 Speedway Natural
Greco GO 900 Speedway Natural
A great example of vintage Japanese craftsmanship from the late 70s and early 80s. Safe to say the Greco GO series was inspired by Alembic’s Series I’s perhaps? However, the build quality here stands on its own.
Since each pickup is routed through a mini-toggle switch for funky, trebley ‘out of phase’ sounds, the pickup selection possibilities are multiplied.
The “Speedway” construction (layering in the middle of the body and neck is subtle but makes the guitar really stand-out, giving it a polished, high-quality look.
Condition: Dings and chips that you would expect in a guitar that is at least 30 years old. No neck repairs or scratches that would be visible from afar. Looks like knobs have been replaced with metal knobs (one of them flat and 3 domed). Chrome has peeled off a bit, particularly in the bridge.
Playability: Straight neck, some fret wear, action is comfortable, no issues with electronics.
