Yamaha SG 1300TS Black on Black
Yamaha SG 1300TS Black on Black
On the list of “first time we’ve ever come across this” here is an incredible Yamaha shredder. The Yamaha SG-1300TS guitar is the example of an uncompromising top quality build guitar that Yamaha spearheaded in the 80s. Killer looks and great sound whichever way you set the tone/volume.
It sports a Mahogany body with a perfectly dialed in Yamaha Rocker trem system, a flat body with a flush, set neck, ebony fret board, abalone dot shaped fret-board position markers, locking nut and Tremolo unit. We’ve come across some pictures of these with aftermarket chrome hardware but we think you’ll agree the original black on black on this make it look incredible.
Black/Chrome Hardware, Twin hum-buckers, coil tapping option from the single tone pot. The guitar has tons of sustain.. The guitar is quite well finished with a great appearance, minor headstock decoration and no standard pick-guard. Weight of guitar approx. 4.2 Kgs, neck width at nut approx. 4.4 cm.
This guitar is beautiful. It really highlights the precision and craftsmanship that Yamaha was cranking out in the late 70s and 80s. The guitar is quite well finished with a great appearance. An incredible dark brown, with green fur Vintage original hard case included.
Condition: Good shape all around, some minor dings and chips that you would expect in a guitar that is at least 30 years old. Added some natural light pictures so you can see in how good this black finish is in. This one was hard to picture but it is in amazing shape as you can see in the daylight pics.
Playability: Straight neck, no buzzing, some fret wear, action is comfortable, no issues with electronics.
